Tenacious Star was founded by Terisa Buchanan to give small nonprofit leaders access to practical strategy and grant support grounded in real nonprofit operations.
Her experience spans nonprofit management, strategic planning, grants, community initiatives, coalition work, program implementation, organizational operations, and service on nonprofit boards. She has worked with AVPRIDE, Community Action For Improvement, Covenant House, AmeriCorps, community coalitions, and nonprofit leaders across five counties.
Terisa’s Taiwan-to-Georgia story adds a cross-cultural perspective to the way she listens, builds trust, and makes room for different experiences around the table.
